Komacel

Komacel is a foamed PVC sheet with smooth surface for universal applications.

Komacel is the world's number 1 PVC sheet made by the Celuka extrusion process. Komacel has unique properties due to the production process and the 30 years' experience of its manufacturer, Kommerling. Komacel has a sandwich structure, with a solid layer and a cell-like core, both made of the same material, obtained by the Celuka procedure.

Komacel PVC sheets have a hard surface, low density, they are good heat and sound insulator, are highly resistant to natural and corrosive agents, low flammability and are approved for the food industry.

Thermal expansion (-30 to + 50 degrees C): 0.08 mm/ml. For sheets with thicknesses between 4.5 and 6 mm, density is 0.85 g/cm, for thicknesses between 8, 10 and 13 mm density is between 0.55 and 0.60 g/cm, and for thicknesses 19, 24 and 30 mm, density is between 0.50 and 0.60 g/cm.
