[fibreC]

[fibre C] are concrete panels for façades, reinforced with glass fibre, combining the advantages of concrete and glass fibre into one product: they are as solid, mouldable and durable as concrete, but at the same time they are thin, fireproof and light due to the glass fibre compound.

Due to the multiple production posibilities, [fibre C] concrete cladding panels offer many options for achieving new, organic and natural shapes. The compact and flexible material can mould to any shape of the building - be it straight or curved lines, reclining or straight walls, roofs - there are no limitations to creativity. [fibre C] gives the impression of a building which was created in one piece.

characteristics / advantages

The texture of [fibre C] concrete cladding for façades

The technology and production of concrete cladding for façades, reinforced with glass fibre, was perfected over the years and it was tested in practice for more than 30 years.

A special extrusion process incorporates layers of glass fibre into a concrete cast; the glass fibres are scattered in the upper and the lower layer, and they are shaped as fibre bundles in the middle layer. The elimination of steel reinforcement allows the creation of extremely thin concrete panels (8 - 13 mm), lightweight but highly resistant at the same time.

Characteristics and advantages of [fibre C]:

  • Increased fire resistance - fire resistance class A1, high temperature resistance
  • Performance - large panel sizes, light weight
  • Long-term durability - high quality and proven durability
  • Authenticity - [fibre C] only contains purely mineral raw materials
  • Formability - bending, forming and chamfering of elements without adhesive
  • Individuality - each element is unique in size, colour and texture

Fire behaviour:

[fibre C] are the first concrete panels for façades in the world to be granted fire resistance class A1 and thus ETA approval for use in high-rise buildings of up to 100m. With appropriate under-structures, the concrete panels may also be used for buildings over 300 m high.

The façade concrete cladding [fibre C] is mounted on the ventilated façade system characterised by constructive spacing between the building's heat insulation and the outer cladding. Since the air cavity regulates the building's temperature, this type of façade contributes to protecting the building and savings.

Moreover, [fibre C] offers intelligent mounting solutions: apparent, hidden, adhesive or mechanical.
